Hemp is a natural cellulose fibre made from cannabis sativa plants. It has the feel and look of linen. While sharing most of the advantages of other natural fibres, hemp is considered more sustainable than the others, as its plants have a higher yield than cotton plants and require little water to grow. However, there are legal issues to grow and import hemp in some countries, and hence it is not as common as other natural fibres.
